The best designers from the US, France and Italy all have stores in Puerto Banús – think the likes of Burberry, Jimmy Choo, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Versace, Gucci… - packed into two streets next to the marina. A short distance from the luxury yachts is El Corte Inglés. This branch of Spain’s flagship department store specialises in luxury items from fashion to furniture with just about everything in between.

Best retail shopping in Marbella

The main street in Marbella houses lots of shops, particularly fashion stores including the best in Spain such as Zara, Mango and Massimo Dutti. If you want a better choice, however, visit La Cañada shopping centre located to the north of the centre.

This is one of the largest shopping malls in southern Spain with a huge choice of retail opportunities. You’ll find large stores such as Leroy Merlin for DIY, Worten for appliances and an Alcampo hypermarket. La Cañada also boasts a long list of fashion stores including high-street favourites such as Zara, Cortefiel and Sfera plus high-end labels (Guess, Adolfo Dominguez, Ugg etc). FNAC (books and electronic appliances) and Apple are also based in the mall.
